Kristina L. Black is an Associate Attorney with The Schnitzer Law Firm. Kristina grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas. She graduated from the University of Houston in 2000 with a degree in Political Science and minors in Political Theory and French. She went on to attend South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas and obtained her law degree in 2003.

Kristina moved to Nevada in 2004 to work for Fidelity National Title. She worked in the title and escrow business for 17 years facilitating both residential and commercial real estate transactions nationally. During her tenure with Fidelity National Title, she took the Nevada Bar Exam to obtain her license to practice law in Nevada and the United States District Court for the District of Nevada in 2012 and began her pro bono work with the Child’s Advocacy Program (CAP) through the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada representing children in Abuse and Neglect Cases.

Kristina’s work with CAP inspired her to enter the field of Family Law as an Associate Attorney. She assisted clients in all aspects of Family Law from divorce and custody to adoption and guardianship. She was promoted to Managing Attorney after her first year with the firm. She successfully litigated dozens of cases and helped hundreds of clients reach a successful resolution to their family law cases.

Kristina joined The Schnitzer Law Firm in 2023 and found her passion for helping injured clients navigate the legal process to get the compensation they deserve. Kristina assists clients in all aspects of pre-litigation, settlement, arbitration, mediation, and trial.

Kristina is a PADI Divemaster and enjoys traveling around the world to the most distant islands to Scuba dive. She has a Certification of Expertise from Cornell University in Shark Global Biodiversity, Biology and Conservation. If she is not advocating for her clients or underwater, she is spending time with her beloved dogs, Pete and Otis.
